Program
Nutrition screening, nutrition assessment, nutrition counseling (one-to-one); nutrition education follow up to clients/patients enrolled in one or more of several Department of Public Health Programs. Registered dietitians to develop healthy eating and fitness goals. Nutrition counseling to control or improve obesity, osteoporosis, diabetes, hypertension, HIV+ an diseases of the heart, kidney and liver.

Eligibility/Fees
Nutrition counseling is available on referral by a physician or other health care provider. Fees are charged. Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and Healthy Kids, CHDP Treatment Program, and private insurance are accepted.
