Testing
Skin testing using the interdermal PPD. A return visit for reading is required. Chest X-Ray evaluation for those with a positive reaction.
Eligibility/Fees
Medi-Cal and private insurance are accepted. For work related testing: a set fee is charged, and payment is due at the time of service unless contract, voucher, or other arrangements for billing have been made.
Follow-up for TB Patients
Clinic evaluations of TB patients to include medication, X-ray, skin test. Laboratory testing includes sputum and blood work.
Eligibility/Fees
Limited to patients referred by Disease Control Services, private physicians, or hospitals. Fees charged. Medi-Cal and private insurance are accepted. For other low-income patients, fees are based on an ability-to-pay determination with a sliding fee schedule, according to income. No one denied services due to an inability to pay.
